The sidequests being hot ass is literally my only major complaint with the game. Over half of them just aren't fun and 9/10 of their rewards are either mediocre filler you'd toss at the house if you got it on a run or just fucking dogshit with no correlation between what you get and the effort taken to get it whatsoever (Bubble Boy and Loner are the hardest quests with an absolute gutter shit rewards, Storage Locker and Party Detonator are easy as fuck only to have the best rewards outside of Persuasion Device). The money is nice but by the halfway point of the game you're making WAY more than you regularly spend because the biggest monkey sink (Baby Jack) is only available once a week. I'm shocked none of the testers said anything about these before the game launched honestly.

I know people aren't so hot on Fight Clubbing anymore but honestly I only started doing it recently in an Idol of Chaos room and to be completely honest it's the most reliable way to mill suboptimal kittens since Beanies and Tink lose their value in the late game, lets you farm Injuries for Baby Jack (the best endgame cat sink), and gives you stat boosted cats to take into filler runs for Unlock hunting/Frank progress.

I'm new to the game and bum-rushed up through Bunker with strays but feel like I hit a wall with Crater and Guillotina 3. Do I just need to git gud, actually give a shit about breeding, or focus on other content?

>>738355501All three, breeding better stats will make it easier to take harder paths, which in turn will give you extra levels, which means better veterans. Then you do that and rely on finding good sinergies instead of just betting all on attack. For Tina III I had a cleric with both Thou shall not covet and kill, a hunter with critter spam, a fighter with stick+ and smash so it could spam weapon attacks for relatively cheap and a hunter with craft arrow+ that turned all the extra pick ups being spammed into extra attacks. You won't make a team in one run but you might find the pillars of your house in that time
>>738355501Act 2 can really be done easily without breeding autism but you want to get on that before it's too late because 3 does not fuck around. You want atleast sturdy sixs, people will shout about all sevens or nothing but realistically if you just make sure no stat dips below five you'll be fine. For crater you can trivialize one of the minibosses just by applying fire damage and if it's the Crater maker giving you trouble it's really a test in memorizing the attack cycle and key positioning. I used to always lose a cat to her but once you get it through your head you can't just bum the damage if shes in a bad spot its not that bad. Tina3 I had an easier time against than 2. Just focus the head down first again and be ready for what happens when she gets half health.
