I just realized that my xiv character is basically botting all the time. Theres really no reason why I cant go back to xi while xiv is botting.The question then becomes: I have an original character that has almost completed wings of the goddess. But i forgot everything about the game again. Should I start over with a new character until I catch back up to my original one who is there some kind of new game plus that will let me start over again

After you progress and unlock dancer you can probably solo anything with any melee class because dancer offers a shitload of free util and healing without needing mp.I could probably solo the whole thing if I started again as just about any job but it took a lot of learning to understand how everything worked early on because I didn't have a clue what I was doing until like 50hrs in and took the time to learn my job and set up macros and do things better. RDM also ended up being a really useful subjob for every other mage job so playing through as RDM was worth it.
