Which level archetype is your favorite? For me it will always be comfy snow levels
Why does he look like that
>train level>vertical level where you have to climb a tower or descend into an underground dungeon
>>738280070wind
>>738280070didn't like the beach
I can't enjoy the beach no more because of dermatitis. Itches like I used itch powder as shampoo. There's no cure.
>>738280121>objective: stop this train
>>738280197how old are you? I had it fairly bad in my late teens but it went away by my mid twenties
Oversized kitchen/bedroom
>>738280070The wind is making his whiskers, which have lots of nerves, move around and he scrunches his face as a result. It’s like if tiny fingers were tickling your face everywhere
>>738279887Snow levels always suck. The environments are all white and samey and they tend to be open areas with no effort put into the level design.>>738280121>vertical level where you have to climb a tower or descend into an underground dungeonThis is pure ludo. Reaching the peak always feels triumphant.
>ancient egypt level (bonus points if tutankhamen's mask is a boss)>ancient greece level where marble statues come to life as enemies>snowy christmas level with sleighbells as musical instruments>prehistoric level with cavemen and dinosaurs>ghost mansion/castle level
>>738280070He's mewing
>>738279887subterranian levels, like deep caves and caverns
>>738280372>sewer maze level that, somehow, without fail, is ALWAYS the worst part of the game
>inside a giant robot/monster that you have to dismantle limb by limb and then you go outside to finish it off and fight it like a regular bossfight
>>738280070Cats are hydrophobic
>>738280404close second is outer space, but only if the environment has newtonian motion, like, nothing ever loses momentum, zero gravity
>>738279887i like forest levels. Maximum comfy
>>738279887Coral reefs / underwater cities
>>738279887Snow levels are nice as long as it's not an old game with slippery ice mechanics, I hate that. Trains and boats are usually great.
>>738279887Intro tutorial zone
>>738280689Where are they going?
I've always loved minecart levels like in donkey kong and that one area in rocket knight adventures
>train level that is always a murder mystery
>>738280795Why are trains always hotspots for murder mysteries? I feel like it would be pretty easy to figure out a murder on a train
>>738280220Early 20sCan't even go to the gym because of the fuckass itch, I've been trying some expensive shampoos from doctors but all they do is stop it from getting to the point where my scalp is red and it looks like I was in the snow.
>>738280723They're escaping the rainbow.
Beaches, jungles and sandstone canyons are biomes/environments I generally associate with good and fun level design in vidya, especially if there are occasional indoor sections or artificial structures littered around to keep things varied.
>>738279887Jungle ruins/Raiders of the Lost Ark opening shtick
>>738279887Airship level
>>738279887>long drawn out sewer levelsign me up, bossready to dive into some shit
>>738279887
>>738279887I love comfy snow levels too, they really are the best
>>738279887>level in the second game is the same layout as the last stage of the first game but flipped in reverse
>>738279887The spooky level.
>>738282639WOULDWOULDWOULDWOULD
>>738281653Unironically the best shampoo for me was some really cheap 2 liter one. I washed my hair every morning since if I did it before bed I would get buildup till morning
>>738279887Mountains that actually utilize verticality in level design. Also, swamps and deserts are probably the hardest environments to get right, they often suck. But when done well, I really love them.
