To expand it would need new experiences, which it cannot get due to the hikkikomori's inability to leave their room. So you explore everything you can, then you experiment by interacting with everything, testing all of your effects on everything, until you completely run out of new stimuli to discover. Only then do you come to terms there is nothing left to experience, divest yourself of everything, and end the game.What I believe is that if you actually play the ending, you are agreeing with Madotsuki's decision. The only reason you would actively seek the ending is to move on from the game. You agree that it's time to end her life.
