Honestly if it’s a popular turn based game, it’s probably shit tier. The turn based genre has one of the hardest combat mechanics, it’s like chess. If they actually made it that way, nobody would get past the first level because normies can only handle a few simplistic combat algorithms and would very quickly get pwnt. Ive played all the “hard” turn based games like resonance of fate, lost odyssey, final fantasy x2. I don’t even need to save my games because I just never lose unless the console crashes. Thats expected of a gamer with my gamer accolades but still overall disappointing. The genre has so much potential. Did anyone play summoner wars? That’s probably the only game ever that tried.
