Exoprimal died quickly because this is an era where the average gamer is incredibly stupid, and has a short attention span. Exoprimal dosent start getting super deep and crazy until a few hours in, so most folks played two missions in the beta, never got to savage gauntlet, bad mouthed it to their friends and online turning more people off the game, and then it spiral effected. Exoprimal isnt bad, it just got crapped on immediately on release by people for being exactly what it marketed itself as for some reason.

>just keep playing these same three maps of mediocre PvE with maybe a tiny bit of PvP at the end of each match, we promise that eventually you'll see something new and better
It was a fundamentally poorly designed and poorly thought out game
>>
i'm just really sick of whatever you call this marathonpunk artstyle
>>
>it gets good fifty hours in

It died because marketing as selling it as a PvPvE game (a niche genre most people prefer to avoid) and the actual game mode was just round of PvE content followed by a round of PvP content with very little connection between them (it doesn't matter how hard you fucked up during the dino genocide round, the bootleg overwatch round is the one that actually matters).

Think it had quite a lot of problems in its design/niche but I will applaud capcom for actually trying to make new shit (kunitsu-gami and pragmata also come to mind)

AAA shovelware. Impressive really

>pvpve
Why do they keep shoving this stupid gamemode everywhere.
>>
I didn't buy it because it was always-online

if it had an offline mode or even just supported LAN matches I would have bought it

Wasn’t this game marketed by hairy trannies?
