Gamesir cyclone2 mogs steam controller in every aspect, and is only 50 dollars.
>>
i like the manba v1 its a pretty good controller
>>
ok i just got over from other controller thread. Sell me the pitch and why this controller over other gamesir's wireless controller
>>
>>738300850
The other more expensive one might be better, but this is best bang for buck
>>
>>738298891
No doubt about it, Gamesir makes high quality products at an affordable price. Oh, and they're in stock!
>>
I had a gamesir nova lite 2 and the battery life was like 5 hours with obnoxious rumble
>>
>>738302003
You should try reading the manuals for the things you buy, Anon. You can change rumble intensity with M + select or start.

I used to make fun of these Changs for being named Gamesaar until I bought one of these
I can only imagine the more expensive ones are pretty solid too
>>
>>738301581
ok so it's budget wise, whats the catch?
>>
>>738302262
Have you seen tech conventions where gamesirs showcased their upcoming patents and tech for their future controllers? Pretty wild but expected coming from china brand country
>>
>>738302308
Cyclone dpad is kinda shitty
>>
>>738301581
There are 40 years of ewaste competing for your attention.
The best bang for your buck is just an office keyboard and mouse that will do everything that isn't programmed like shit.
>>
>>738302368
Hmmm, i barely use dpad for movements tho, so i guess thats nothing for me

Where can high-end controller technology even go at this point?
We already have
>TMR sticks
>meme 8k polling rate
>sub-5ms stick and button latencies on wireless
>extra face buttons
>4 paddles/back buttons
>gyro
>adjustable stick tension
>replaceable sticks and buttons
>>
>>738302357
Not really, the Chinese can make some quality stuff if paid to
You're just taking a leap of faith trying brands sometimes
>>
>>738302262
That’s the controller I’m literally using right now. I’ve gone through one already (broke one of the triggers; the sticks are great but the triggers don’t last) but they’re only $20 so it’s no big deal. Wish they’d make a wireless one. I HATE the asymmetrical stick layout— I had the gamesaar Xbox controller before and couldn’t get used to that layout even after months of use.

I wish DS4 sticks weren’t such flimsy garbage. Getting one with hall-effect sticks would be incredible.

How does it mog the Steam Controller in keyboard+mouse emulation?
>>
>>738302459
Well i did tried xbox first party controller and gulikit which both failed me with non functional R1R2 L1L2 buttons after less than a year of uses. So now im using wired gamesir controller which just surpassed a year of uses with no problem except the wired port sometimes loosen and lost control. Idk if that part is the cable fault or the port on either controller or my pc is loosen.
>>
>>738302604
You dont need mouse and kb emulation on a pad. You have mouse and kb for that
>>738302568
You dont need trackpads or gyro
Once you have done some wagglan with your gyro, you get bored of it and never use it again

Gamesaar controllers aren't terrible, but their marketing team is working overtime here recently. I've noticed they've given up on advertising the G7 because the steam controller is just a straight up better deal. Only way they can compete is by telling you you don't need the high end features (that they were ecstatic to sell you before they got BTFO)
>>
>>738302834
>Calling wagglan and useless trackpads as a high end features
>>
>>738298891
>mogs steam controller in every aspect
Interesting. Where did they hide the trackpads? I can't seem to find them. And I assume it naturally has capacitive sticks and grip sense, or else it obviously wouldn't mog the SC which has those too.
>>
>>738302984
The omission of trackpads is what makes it superior
You don't need trackpads for PC gaming
>>
>>738302696
>>738302867
>gyro = wagglan
Holy shit what a retard. Please kill yourself posthaste.
>>
>>738303012
on the contrary the steam controller 2 sucks more than the steam controller 1 due to an additional stick

pc gaming is best without having to touch sticks
>>
>>738303012
>having less features is what makes it superior
>You don't need trackpads for PC gaming
Retard. See >>738303035
>>
>>738302696
One of the reasons why people hate STEM types is that too many of them in complete ignorance will make claims about what other people want or need. The *only* point of a pad for the sorts of games I play is the ability to play from places where keyboard and mouse would be inconvenient.
>>
I only like and buy 1st party special and limited edition controllers
>>
>>738302746
>$15 controller pretending to be $50
>>
>>738302746
The last 4 xbox controllers I have bought had problems with the trigger or D-pad within a year. I will never buy an official xbox controller again. I've had MadCatz in 2005 last longer than MS's garbage.
The 8bitdo I got is still great after 2 years, and the battery is a fucking champ. I can play for 12-14 hours, forget to dock it, and it can go for another full day.
>>
>>738302746
Got “them” riled up with this post huh

I have 3 DualSense controllers and this $25 8BitDo wired controller. The quality is almost on par with the DualSense. I'm really impressed
>>
>>738302003
>buys the $50 version of a $100 controller
Now you know why it was cheaper, they saved on battery
>>
>>738302772
I use it wired because imagine using wireless anything for gaming.
>>738303249
I had one get stick drift, and I'm going to replace the pots when I get the gumption to do it. My current one is 2 years old and flawless.
>>
>>738302262
These are peak, for the price the value their offer is genuinely insane. It mogs a lot of controller for input delay and comfort in hands
But as that other anon said, triggers can be kind of weak. I had two tegenaria lite controllers and R2/RT broke on one of them.
Gamesaar more like Gamesir. Shame they don't have a higher end model with symetrical sticks
>>
>>738303249
I would've stuck with the 8bitdo ultimate 2 if it didn't feel awkward in my hands. The grips bend too close to the trigger mountings and my middle fingers end up resting on the edges.
>>
Gamesaar should hurry the fuck up and maybe make 1 (one) symmetrical smartphone controller instead of only shitting out asymmetrical ones, I'm getting brain damage trying to emulate dpad-only consoles with pic related or playing MHFU without being able to claw.
>>
>>738303450
Yeah, I'll admit it is a tad small and not as comfortable as a legit xbox controller. However, the controller working properly is a higher priority.
It's not like it's really uncomfortable, like the switch joycons. I have no idea how nintendo made something more uncomfortable that the wiimote.
If you do have a rec for something that feels as good as a real xbox controller, but also isn't gonna break within a year, let me know.
>>
>>738298891
I have one of their telescopic controllers for phones and it worked pretty well but the left stick has started drifting
>>
>>738303127
There are no such places. Using a mouse and keyboard is always more convenient than using trackpads without exception.
>>
>>738303691
Just get a chink handheld
You can buy one that emulates stuff up to PS1 for like 60 bucks
>>
>>738298891
yes saaaaAaAaAar this control does the very needful
>*bobs head*
>>
>steamiejeet promoting gamesaar
>>
>>738298891
Are these better than 8BitDo?
>>
>>738303802
I find it pretty dumb to buy a chinkphone that doesn't phone instead of using my actual smartphone. How hard can it be to make a single usable clamp controller when they already have a dozen SKUs in their lineup?
>>
>>738303249
I have been using the same one for 4 years with no problems. Still isn't drifting. Guess I just got lucky.
>>
>>738304053
I would at least use a spare phone instead of using up the battery on my main one
>>
>>738303936
on par or better than. They're more reliable than 8bitdo on average.
>>
>>738298891
I think gamesir is objectively worse than steam controller, but to be fair, gamesir AT LEAST has gyro, and otherwise seems quality and fairly priced
>>
>>738298891
Please dont redeem saar, this dpad looks terrible for any kind of game.
>>
>>738304517
On what games are you using gyro for ? You can't even replicate Wii controls with a gyro controller.
>>
where to buy
>>
>>738304592
Nothing. He will never use it again after the novelty has disappeared in 1 day
He will wagglr in some fps game for awhile
>>
>>738298891
I have it and I'm not a fan. Who the fuck thought clicky switches were a good idea?
>>
>>738305034
Also, the fucking docking station lighting up all the time, with no option to disable it. God, I hate the fucking gay RGB shit.
>>

I'm going to play age of wonders with trackpads and you can't stop me
>>
>>738305326
Yeah, for the whole 20 minutes till the novelty wears off and you see how terrible experience it is.
You will go back to your mouse and keyboard like any sane person would

>>
>>738303426
What’s insane is that they’re literally the only manufacturers who are making controllers with this build quality and at this price point. The sheer fucking greed of controller manufacturers is arguably predatory. Say what you will about chinks, at the very least they’re introducing products that can help destabilize a bullshit market.

I've been using an 8bitdo Ultimate 2C for a while now and I can't complain. I was actually kind of impressed with its build quality considering it was only like $30. Hall effect sticks should have been industry standard by now and the fact that all these chink budget controllers have them while first party $70-100 controllers don't is ridiculous.
>>
>>738302458

Except it doesnt have touchpads which is the steam gimmick. Arguing with retards is tiresome
>>
>>738302458
capacitive sticks are starting to become a thing now, those have an even higher resolution and are even less likely to drift than tmr sticks. besides that, i think every controller should have removable stick caps but unfortunately only so many do
>>
>>738309631
you dont need touchpads
they are terrible at navigating desktop and playing games
literally useless feature
I have a steamdeck so I know
