I'll start, your one doesn't have to be as long.

>this pink thing comes to its forest home
>sees hunters around
>the hunters start fires and capture a bunch of its friends and family
>this critter tries to fight but get knocked out
>wakes up and was taken to a cave by wise elder
>is tasked to save its species and are taught weird magic
>travel around the forrest biome fighting hunters and freeing critters
>each hunter has their own way of fighting, like bait, traps, darts, hunting dogs, etc.
>beat up all hunters and turns out more are on their way
>have no choice but to beat the hunters in finale, setting traps and depending on how much you saved throughout the game, the minigames and traps you are different
>beat hunters but it turns out it was a ploy by elder
>elder reveals that it is some other wordly creature and needed to feed on humans to recover strength
>team up with hunters to beat elder
>hunters and critters live in peace!
