This is going to be many gamer's first time playing Halo. Microsoft has 1 (ONE) chance to capture a new audience through PlayStation after completely obliterating any goodwill they had with Xbox players, and yet, everyone who has seen the gameplay footage or had a chance to actually play the demo has expressed unfavourable to mixed opinions towards the game. Despite all the hate they received, Halo 4, 5, and Infinite all had hype surrounding them when they launched before their flaws came to light. But with this game, all the flaws are immediately obvious. There are no redeeming qualities. There's nothing new, nothing exciting, and nothing that looks good. So why has it not been cancelled already? 1 (ONE) chance is what they have to save Halo with a new audience, and this is what they cook up? The entire project needs to be deleted and work restarted from scratch. I genuinely can not point to a single thing that has been shown that is worth keeping. I've never had this opinion before. Every single prior Halo game at least had one or two things that made me think 'oh that's kind of cool', but not this game. It must be cancelled.

Plus the most fun there is in Halo is the multiplayer which this won’t have. It will flop hard. If I wanted to play CE I’d pull my original Xbox out of storage and boot up the original, or if I felt like playing a worse version, pull out my 360 and play the awful anniversary edition. This new unreal engine one will suck as it’s doing the exact same thing the anniversary did by just dropping in assets from the previous game and calling it a day

>>738310356>bazillion better halo clonesthere literally aren't. few games do the shoot, melee, instant grenade throw trifecta gameplay. what's more is I don't think there's a single other FPS game that seamlessly blends shooting and vehicle combat as fluidly as halo does. halo is one of a kind. it didn't get big back in the day just by chance.
