I will never play Bayonetta because I loathe forced After Burner / Space Harrier forced segments and I know the game has a 10 minutes long one before its equivalent to the DMC Vergil fight.

>>738313341>>738314835Our only frame of reference for a non-Nintendo exclusive Bayonetta game is the first one and it didn't sell significantly better than the other two mainline entries, certainly not to an extent where one could be said to have sold "like hotcakes" and the others to have been "killed." There is pretty much no basis for this idea and it's a moot hypothetical regardless, given that 75% of the series only exists because Nintendo were the only publisher willing to fund them.
