Will Nintendo make a Switch 3? Or something completely different? Historically when Nintendo makes a successful console, they usually make the successor an iterative upgrade.>NES >SNES >Gameboy>Gameboy Advance >DS>3DS>Wii>WiiU>Switch >Switch 2 I'm 100% positive that in my opinion Nintendo is probably going to do something different next generation because they're not like Sony so making a Switch 3 is just going to be boring.
nintendo has a mba in charge now, if the currently formula works(and the switch 2 is selling super well, so it is) then why change anything?
>>738312668>then why change anything?Because Nintendo is a video game company and not a tech company like Sony. Sony can get away with selling the same PlayStation just with upgrades, Nintendo likes to come up with different ways to play and even if shiggy dies, even with iwata and yokoi gone, that philosophy will never die. Nintendo making switch 3 is unlikely and it comes true that will mark the end of Nintendo.
>>738312743i don't think you understand the systemic rot that occurs when a mba gets put in charge. look at the damage that jim ryan did to sony. steve jobs talked about it decades agohttps://youtu.be/NlBjNmXvqIM?t=23
imagine how much shittier this industry will get in let's say next 10 years haha
>>738312743>Nintendo likes to come up with different ways to playWtf are you talking about, that was only the Wii eraBefore then they just did traditional consoles
>>738312882>>738312886>>738312928From NES to SNES, Gameboy to Gameboy Color/Advanced, N64 to GameCube, DS to 3DS, and Wii to WiiU.They have a tendency of making a brand new system and then improving on it. I think that's what's happening with the Switch and Switch 2. So with that pattern, we might get an entirely new innovation few years from now after the Switch 2.
