same dev - they spent 3 years rebuilding the game in unreal engine but it seems to be 1:1 the exact same game with the exact same gameplay

They are going to fuck it up anyway. Sub-Zero already turned out to be a piece of shit, because the developers had no idea what made Subnautica great in the first place. The studio is also woke, so expect more annoying ghetto rat sheboons and the sort.
