When you make a maxed stat a requirement to even begin a relationship with a girl, it gives people the wrong idea about the character and clashes with how she acts with you during story beats. She's obviously romantically interested in you after the Yakushima events, and then the game just tells you that the reason she doesn't want to talk to you is because you're not a casanova. It's narratively dissonant and gives people the wrong idea about her character.
