They look less like kemono and more like animals that stood up. Which is fine by me. It's the voice acting that's weird to me, Star Fox VAs are exaggerated and silly, and that makes them stand out, but these performances are very bland.

The characters went in the boring realism direction. The vehicles look pretty cool though.It's not as bad as "ugly sonic" so I don't think we're getting enough unanimous fan backlash to get it remade.But would it kill them to make a new rail shooter entry? I'm pretty sure this franchise has more games that diverge from core than it does that embrace it.I kind of liked Starfox 2 and Command Mission DESU, so I could go for more like that as well.The new features would be more exciting if it weren't all part of a remake. I'll be honest while I think the designs could be improved I like that they're making the characters more animalistic, e.g. Falco having pheasant legs, rather than just humans with animal heads.
