IIRC the lead devs did nothing substantial for like 5 years, and apparently one of them was more focused on making an AI-generated movie despite being anti-AI? Big head at Krafton fires them and tells them the $250 million bonus (that was implied for the entire dev team but really was for the dev leads to distribute, so technically the leads could have pocketed it all and fucked off) that hinges on them having done their job doesn't apply because of said job not being done. Krafton gets sued back, Krafton loses the case, the lead devs get reinstated, and now it's going into EA, likely because Krafton has an even bigger gun pointed now?
