So in Undertale the power to save and load are tied to determination so only Flowey can save and load until Frisk falls down but in Deltarune everyone has determination so no one gets the power to save and load but what if the roaring/the light world being flooded with darkness causes people to somewhat isolate in their determination fields letting people load saves they may have made when they had a lot of determination at one point in their lives?Maybe that's the end goal, cause the roaring and load your save to a better time, the heroes take care of the roaring, the tragedy happens, the world is saved and you split the timeline back into a save you made at some point.I don't know how we come into play exactly but if it does work this way that might mean Kris was sacrificing their only save file for the greater good.
