this was also a remake of Star Fox 64 btw
>>
Why are a bunch of humans dressed up in fur suits?
>>
>>738368615
but the graphics were way better.
why the literal fuck didn't they just use these designs? they're still better than those other monstrosities.
>>
>>738368694
You call animals monstrosities? I think you need to watch some more national geographic son.
>>
>>738368774
I don't want Iconic character to just be realistic animals.
the whole point of art and creativity is to NOT do that.
>>
>>738368842
Bro just go rewatch Disney's Robin Hood or something, relax.
>>
I know fucking no one had a Wii U or played this game, but it was not a 64 remake in any sense
If you are going to say that you might as well say assault was too
Zero had all new levels and while it followed the same overall "Andross is an asshole, go kill him" plot, it still had a unique story that wasn't just a beat for beat retelling of 64's story.
It's less of a remake than the Lost Levels was
>>
>>738368615
switch 2 design mogs that garbage
>>
Imagining a guy who bought star fox zero just to play guard
>>
>>738368615
The crazy part is we used to hate these designs but they look waaaaaaaaaaay more true to form than the new ones
>>
>>738368694
>but the graphics
Zero is over hated but it never was a particularly great looking game
>>
>>738368939
That was me
>>
>>738368901
Its vaguely the same events of 64 and ends with you going through a tunnel with your ghost dad like 64
>>
>>738369024
There are so many fucking Mario games that are all about you going to the right and end with you rescuing the princess and beating Bowser.
Call it a rehash if you want, but I would much rather get another zero rehash than the exact same fucking levels I played nearly 30 years ago.
>>
>>738368694
>graphics way better
by like 1 console generation
20 years later
with a worse, garish artstyle

>>738368901
>not a 64 remake in any sense
come on now
there was little new and some things removed from 64
>>
>>738369175
>some things removed
Like what?
>>
>>738369175
>there was little new
Begging you to play literally the first level and say there was little new
>>
Saying this is a remake of 64 is like saying BOTW is a remake of Zelda 1 lol.
>>
>>738369175
Why do you faggots pretend to play games? Just go on xitter, you give us a bad rep.

ooooooooooo i'm going to reply to you with ai and you're going to have to deal with

sucking off nintendo will yield you nothing

The following levels from Star Fox 64 are not present in Star Fox Zero:

1. Sector Y
In Star Fox 64, Sector Y is the "hard path" space level following Corneria, famous for its high-intensity dogfighting and the Shogun mechs. In Star Fox Zero, the space levels are renamed to Sector Alpha and Sector Beta. While Sector Alpha shares the same map position, the gameplay and aesthetic are distinct.

2. Katina
The massive "Independence Day" style fleet battle on the planet Katina does not appear in Star Fox Zero. However, its spirit lives on in the level Sector Beta, which features a large-scale fleet invasion and the reappearance of Fox’s friend Bill Grey.

3. Solar
The high-temperature mission on the surface of the sun Solar is completely absent. There is no equivalent "lava/fire" level in Star Fox Zero.

4. Aquas
The submarine level featuring the Blue Marine was entirely cut. Star Fox Zero lacks a dedicated underwater level, though it does feature a water-themed boss fight (Aquarosa) in the Area 3 mission.

5. Sector Z
The mission where you defend the Great Fox from incoming missiles in Sector Z is not in Star Fox Zero. Defense-style elements are instead integrated into other missions, such as the defense of the orbital station in Area 3.

6. Bolse (Defense Outpost)
In Star Fox 64, Bolse serves as the final gateway to Venom on the easy/medium paths. It is a satellite defense station protected by a shield. This specific level is omitted, as Star Fox Zero uses a different progression system and final approach to Venom.

7. Area 6
The "hard path" final assault through a massive Venomian fleet in Area 6 is not present. While Star Fox Zero has a level called Sector Omega, it focuses more on stealth and different mechanics rather than the pure "all-range" chaos of Area 6.

nitpick as you please

additionally you knob gobblers

here's a speedrun
a 100% speedrun
as in the whoooooooole game
done in about 2 and a half hours
about 1 and a half hours in game time

I'll reiterate for you morons
1.5 HOURS IN GAME TIME
I'll not be entertaining any arguments about how substantial the game is and how much has been added when you can complete THE ENTIRETY OF THE GAME IN ONE AND A HALF HOURS

I bought and liked Zero, even if it took some time to get used to the control scheme.
Never touched Guard tough, is it any good?
>>
>>738368615
That game was too strange. All those long interuptions in missions pissed me off. Not to mention having to play the game with the gimmick controller
>>
>>738372761
>He bases his opinion on a game off speed runners
>>
>>738373116
oh no I played it a long time ago
but it was awful and so I don't dedicate brain space to remembering it

But finding the lower bound of a game is a perfectly reasonable thing to do, especially 100% completion.

likewise I don't dedicate time to arguing with idiots, aspies, and schizoids, so feel free to get some epic last words in after this
>>
>>738373538
>anon posted an ai summary that proved himself wrong, admitted he doesn’t remember the game and requires a speedrunner to feed him his thoughts
>rants about schizos afterwards
