Every little download was a little burst of joy. Finding every n64 game I had as a kid and downloading it was like crack, and then nabbing all the ones I never played, or just the ones I though looked cool. but then multiplied by every other console I had growing up. and then the consoles I didnt have. and then all the translations and hacks. I got so fucking into it I ended up with like 3000 games total from the NES to Wii eras all downloaded one at a time. And now I never have to do it again, just an immense library filled with shit I actually want to play (or try out at least). I almost kind of miss it, if my library and backups disappeared I would certainly be annoyed but I'd have fun building it back up piece by piecebut then again I am someone who actually loves videogames unlike the average poster here
