>>738387827Why did console prices explode in 7th gen? The PS3 was something like double the price of the PS2. This is the reason Nintendo has been a generation or more behind in hardware ever since, so that they can remain affordable in Japan. Pretty much every gaming household I knew as a kid owned both a PS1 and N64, many owned any combination of PS2, Xbox and Gamecube, in my house we had all 3 (one for each sibling for christmas) and we were working class. I don't recall knowing anybody who owned more than one 7th gen console.
Why does Nintendo keep doing gimmicks with their controllers? Why not just make a regular controller? People just want to play the games.
