>>738388241>lovecraftian slopwe've had more than enough of this shit already. none of them got it right.
>>738388241I miss tew
I liked the detective aspects of the first game, I hope they haven't got rid of them.
I've been posting about this game a lot, I'm actually very excited. I think in the end it will be "Resident Evil at home", but I also think that the story and setting will make up for a lot of shortcomings.
>>738388241Looks great, hope it runs good. Fucking happy Frogwares has hung on Sinking 1 is special little game, an atmosphere all its own.
The first one one was jankino
>>738389868I think the first one, while I liked it, did a shallow version of both detective elements and monster combat. While I would've preferred them going all out on the detective elements instead, it seems they've decided to focus on the combat which is a decision I respect. In an early kickstarter post they said they had more or less ditched the detective parts in favor of better combat. But in later trailers they said that you could partake in optional mystery and puzzle solving to get your hands on upgrades and such. It's hard to say what the final product is like, after all mystery solving is in their DNA.
Over the top Lovecraft style with tentacles and cultist iconography everywhere is my guilty pleasure. There's very little subtlety in Sinking City 1, but it's great. This is an axe attachment you can put on the shotgun.
DON'T TOUCH ME, NEGRO!
>>738390779Is the new protagonist BASED? Will he tell fishfaces to go back to where they came from?
>>738388241costumes reveal WHEN
>>738388241More like Stinking city lol
>>738388241more like the stinking shitty poo
>>738388241Look more like dead space than RE
>>738390719>Over the top Lovecraft style with tentacles and cultist iconography everywhere is my guilty pleasureSame honestly. I think the unadaptability of the man's writing in the short story format actually lends itself well to a "fuck it" approach where you just go all out with the garish low brow stuff. This is why the Yuzna films are so good to me. If you can't actually adapt Lovecraftian horror then might as well just go balls out with Lovecraft-skinned body horror
>>738389868According to their steam page:>Use environmental storytelling and scattered clues to solve side mysteries that unlock new outcomes and gameplay bonuses.
>>738392840Oh, nice one
I predict jank-kino with too little enemy variety and sub-par animations
I was underwhelmed by the first game so I would need to see more until i'm onboard with 2.
Watched it twice now, I want it now, Frogwares ganbare>>738396113My actual wife btw
>>738397870>My actual wife btwKeep the skank, real men know true beauty lies elsewhere.
still the strongest atmosphere of any full Lovecraftian gameI hope there's actual melee weapons now, it's so disappointing to play a horror game without melee to bludgeon minor eldritch abominations and bathe in their blood
>>738398641We know you can turn the shotgun into an axe.See >>738390719
>>738388241I want this game to be good, or/and have soul like the first one.
>>738396113The perfect woman
>>738400181The worrying part is that it's a departure from anything they've done before. But Frogwares do have soul
>>738398641>strongest atmosphere of any full Lovecraftian gameYou mean Dark Corner of the Earth outsider?
Is this female?
>>738406204AHHH IM GOING INSANE WITH LUST
>>738396113>deathly pale complexion>deliciously toned thighs
>>738406860If it wasn't for the cloth physics having a meltdown you'd never actually see her thighs.
