Nutrition is such a meme. When I eat 200g of sugar I feel better than if I eat leafy greens, complex carbs, fibre, water, and protein for 2 months straight. Nothing can top the power of sugar and caffeine

Imagine the goose meme, but with "And what sauce are you using? What sauce are you using."

Also: Who the fuck uses wholemeal buns for burgers. I know I sure don't. I don't use buttermilk or whatever, so I don't think it's unhealthy, but it's definitely not wholemeal.

>The claim “lettuce phytoestrogens and goitrogens nuke your T” is not supported by evidence.

>Phytoestrogens are plant compounds that can weakly interact with estrogen receptors. They’re found mostly in foods like onions, flaxseed, sesame, and legumes — not lettuce in any meaningful amount.

>Goitrogens are compounds that can interfere with iodine uptake by the thyroid when eaten in very large amounts, especially raw. They’re mainly associated with cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts.

>Lettuce is not a significant source of either.

>As for testosterone (“T”):

There’s no good evidence that normal lettuce consumption lowers testosterone in men.

>Even foods with phytoestrogens (like onions) generally do not meaningfully reduce testosterone in human studies when eaten in normal amounts

>In practice:

>Eating lettuce in salads is not going to “nuke” your testosterone.

>The phrase is mostly internet nutrition hype mixing together scientific-sounding words.
Lolol actual science is calling you dumb for listening to psuedo-science

It’s crazy how it took some zoomie chink to completely debunk the “mUrRiCaN cHeEz NoT rEaL cHeEz!” retardation, but because we’re infested with third worlders who get their news several years behind the rest of us we continue to see subhuman IQ morons parroting the same shit to this day.

American cheese has its reputation because a strong portion of it is made from milk in a very specific way. You know what ELSE is made from milk?
>>
>>738395115
It’s healthy if you make it yourself and eat it in moderation. I sometimes make myself burgers with proper bread and cheese and patties cooked without oil. It actually costs about three times less than what you’d pay at a fast-food place.

If you make your own burgers, there's no issue. The problem is fast food joints adding a bunch of preservatives and shit to the thing they're about to possibly also soak in sludge.

We know that at least one American-obsessed retard is Polish. He’s the one who keeps spamming the mutt edits, and you can tell because if a thread ever criticizes Poles in any way he’ll immediately dive into his reaction folder to scream about Americans.

Real cheese is really healthy, but the stuff you buy in a normal grocery store is just fine. American cheese is just the same as store-bought cheese, only half of it is full of chemicals so it lasts longer, because they’ve just got used to eating it that way ever since the days when they were a colony.

American cheese is just a blend of other cheeses like cheddar and colby jack. Designed specifically to melt easily. Are you just confusing pasteurizion with preservatives?
There's truly no sense in comparing hard cheese to cheese you would melt on a hot dish. There's nothing dubious about American cheese.
>>
>>738395243
I think everyone thinks American Cheese = Kraft Singles. They think all Cheese in all 50 states is 100% only Kraft Singles and nothing else. They legitimately believe 330m+ people have never tasted anything other than Kraft Singles.

They also think all the bread we have is wonder white sandwich bread. They genuinely don't think we can just go to any store and buy a loaf of sourdough that was baked that day.

I love buying cheap local cheese because it’s made by a bunch of incompetent clowns who can’t maintain a consistent production process so every batch is completely different with varying flavours and textures.

I agree with the point you're making but this is a poorly thought-out way to illustrate it on top of being a food analogy.
I can't say I blame boomers for having this sentiment because their primary point of reference were Nintendo titles, the grand majority of which, to this day are aimed primarily at children.
In the end it's the same as with any other piece of art that's being sold, though.
Movies, music, books and paintings all have the capacity to be art but when chasing profits becomes the primary goal instead of artistic expression you wind up with products instead.
Singleplayer titles are by no means immune to this but it's also a theme that's a lot more prevalent with the popularization of games as a service.
TL;DR: blame Nintendo and Fortnite.

YES EVERYONE KNOWS AMERICAN CHEESE ISN'T """REAL""" CHEESE.
THE PURPOSE OF IT IS TO BASICALLY SOLIDIFIED CHEESE SAUCE. IT IS MEANT TO GO ON SPECIFIC FOODS LIKE CHEESEBUGERS AND CHEESESTEAKS. IT IS NOT THERE TO REPLACE MOZZARELLA ON YOUR PIZZA OR THE FANCY ASS CRUMBLEY CHEDDAR ON YOUR CHARCUTERIE BOARD. THERE ALSO EXISTS AMERICAN CHEESE OUTSIDE OF KRAFT SINGLES, ALMOST NOBODY USES THAT KIND
>OH BUT ANON I LIKE CHEDDAR OR PEPPER JACK ON MY BURGER
SO DO I THAT'S WHY I CAN PICK AND CHOOSE WHICH CHEESE I WANT BECAUSE YOU CAN MAKE DIFFERENT BURGERS WITH DIFFERENT INGREDIANTS
FUCK.

Mostly the whey and sodium citrate. Normal cheese doesn't use either.

They're usually less than 50% cheese, because it's all emulsifiers and preservatives.

White bread is not health. That ultra processed "cheese" is not healthy. Hamburger is only healthy in moderation. Those three items account for probably 95% of the total calories, cholesterol, and saturated/ trans fats in the combined product.

Truth is US has never managed to shake off the stigma of being Britain’s shitty colony. American Dream literally means living in a shitty cardboard shack and eating slop that no European would ever touch. They’re a second-rate country on a par with the Brazilians and all the other shitholes in the Americas.
>>
>>738395383
American cheese is a process cheese made by blending cheese curd back into whey cheese. Formally, it is the same classification as ricotta and further process products such as ziger or brunost or brocciu.
