In less than a month Splatoon will be 11 years old, what does /v/ think of the only lasting legacy of the Wii U?
>>738403542>Local GameShare is just the GamePad but with a Switch 2 + Switch 1>BotW clones everywhereSure, no legacy whatsoever
The Pokemon splatfest where ZardTards got clubbed like seals was fun
>>738403542i'm surprised it took 11 years for the series to finally get a spinoff
>>738403542>Splatoon will save the Wii U!Seeing those threads was hilarious and still are just like this one.
it eventually gave us shiversex with shiver
>>738403542I still think it's the best Splatoon gameThe other two just don't have quite the same FRESHness. The artstyle had a rough charm, the sunken scrolls were weird, the maps were designed more like actual locations each with their own unique gimmick, everything included was intentional and not following the footsteps of the prior.
>>738403542Just post the woomy porn please.
anyone has that gif of the developers wearing squid masks and being silly?

One of the best IP in modern gaming. The ink mechanic is brilliant, and the setting, aesthetic and music are inspired and unique. And they’re doing a good job of keeping it fresh by dabbling in different structures while retaining the same base gameplay (pvp modes, horde mode, platformers style levels, unique weapon challenge levels, roguelike, singleplayer/co-op extraction shooter). Can’t wait for Raiders

>>738403542The testfire was one of the most fun gaming experiences I can remember, multiplayer with friends excluded. They games are still great, but we’ll never have that moment of joyous discovery back again
