I really need more rogue likes like Gungeon where the game just gives you random shit, and says "do your best", instead of all the bullshit "build" based rogue likes of today where you pick from 3 options for +20% fart damage for your fart build and get small incremental number buffs.
That being said that artstyle looks pretty grim. They might have went back to the drawing board.
