I think one of the worst things they could do that I never really see mentioned is change up the music. Not like, giving it different arrangements, but changing up the context to be more like BotW where the noise is all ambient and you only get occasional musical cues outside of specific locations and important cutscenes. The music is so iconic in OOT that I feel like scaling it back that far would be a total retard move but something I can actually see them doing if they've still got too much of that game stuck in their heads.
