Just saw some guy say it won't buy Code Vein II at 90% off because it doesn't feature multiplayer co-op and that the game isn't "good enough to be carried without friends" or whatever.
And then I remembered all the friend slop that gets shat out on a monthly basis or zoomer memes I spot on reels like how afraid they were of playing Fortnite solo for the first time.
When did this shift happen? When did gaming become normalized? I was being bullied on 6th grade for still playing video games. I played video games alone my whole life and still do because I've never met someone who is anything other than sports. This shit isn't fair.

Vidya was cool in my school as a '99 zoomer. It just had to be the right vidya. I.e. none of that weeabibble bullshit. Everyone was loading up the browser version of minecraft in computer class.

He has a point that you can have fun playing a game that isn't very good with friends. I'd rather just play a good game with friends, though.

Shit, I'm a 92 millennial and the year I graduated people were carrying their pokewalkers around in school
