The plus version of the patch is also good, but it adds a lot of half-baked, borderline fanfic content that the creators of the patch swear is t o t a l l y a cut content that Troika games originally wanted to include in the game but couldn't because of time and budget constraints due to Activision being the publisher. Granted, listening to Grout's paranoia really spiral is some great storytelling, but it establishes the pattern of "level where you beat up a bunch of people and/or run by them and do <objective>" for the latter half of the game. Grout's Mansion is a lot like the sewers and the Kuei-Jin temple, which means it's also like the Sabbat hotel and Ventrue Tower and etc. etc.. Meanwhile, The Society of Leopold's little spot, whatever that Mission is called (or is it a monastery?) and the Giovanni mansion are both like a mixture of the Ocean House Hotel and the usual on-rails level.That said, it's coming up on... two years since my last playthrough, I think? I might be remembering some things wrong.

Average enemies can't do anything for you, but because there are tons of them, you're wasting your time, blood, and ammo. Not sure why they did, to demonstrate that the game is long?Giovanni's mansion is quite good, considering you can lie to the girl here, and she will guide you to the catacombs, maybe too rushed, there was a place for more than one side mission. However, this and a few other missions are an exception; the road to the last 2 bosses was boring as hell. I got a heart attack skill just for this segment
