Aren't these "younger generation is stupid, ugly and hopeless" comics a diss against the people who made them because they're outright stating their generation was incapable of properly raising kids to differentiate between gaming and a medical exam?
>>
Pong
>>
>>738428057
it absolutely is. but they don't think that far.
>>
>>738425153
The irony is a millennial would know what this stupid ass comic is trying to meme and never assume such a stupid thing. The reality is the boomer optometrist would be asking for help opening a file and muttering angrily under his breath at having to file electronically with the kid's insurance instead being able to do it on paper and mailing it in. He'd fill it out finally, close the window and want to kill himself when he realizes the file didn't save. Boomers were the most technologically illiterate niggers ever. Zoomers are fighting them for the number one spot but I'll always remember teaching my 6th grade teacher how to make a powerpoint because his retarded ass didn't know shit.

Some pong clone home console probably from the early to mid 80's
>>
>>738425153
Pong I guess, but does it count if it was a flash port?

I've played Pong, but it's not like it was on a Magnavox Odyssey or anything so I'm not sure it counts.

I've played Adventure and Zorc.

My dad's Atari games. He wrote down his high scores on the cartridges and I have no idea how he got them. Then again I was much younger trying those games than the age he was when playing them.

I went to an arcade museum where everything was playable and they had machines so old they predated electronics. They had a Pong machine, so it's probably that. I don't know if I could find an older game than that; I doubt I'll ever run into an authentic computer running Spacewar. I know emulation and ports exist and normally I would count them as playing the game but when it comes to games THIS old I don't think it's equivalent.

Pong.
One of the deluxe later versions of the hardware with switches to toggle different game modes and different rules.
Despite the only controller being that knob you turned, it felt very, very smooth.

Probably something like the first Super Mario on the NES, Not counting shit like emulating Pong for 5 minutes before getting bored.
>>
for some reason my brother traded his nes for an Atari 2600, so the oldest game i played growing up was Digdug.

Boomer generation is the laziest retard generation in history.
They genuinely believe that they naturally "just knew" things that were taught to them.

On physical hardware probably duck hunt or excite bike on the NES.
On PC / emulated I'm not sure.
>>
>>738439582
Not enough labels on things. How will I know what to think?
>>
>>738425153
Original hardware, I guess Pacman, the CRT it used had the maze burned into it, I guess some Pinball machines were older but those are not videogames.
>>
Played? Pong. Truly enjoyed? Supaplex
>>
>>738425153
Some Atari game in 1989.i think it was pitfall the one where you jump on crocodiles. The oldest one I played and actually remember was Might and Magic Book one. Kid me had a very hard time figuring the manual because my English wasn't very good
>>
>>738439582
the sad part is that we are getting there. the "digital generation" copy pastes and speech to text so much we are getting record illiteracy out of primary school and it gets worse as they grow up
>>
>>738436942

>>
>>738425153
I've played Spacewar! in an emulator once. In terms of original hardware, probably Asteroids, though it was in an arcade so I have no idea what year the machine I played on was manufactured. Did they continue to make Asteroids cabinets into the 80s?

Probably International Soccer, because it came with the C64 my brother got back in the 80s, though I might have played an arcade game before that. Strangely enough, the game was on cartridge, despite the vast vast majority of C64 games being on cassette. I think I've only seen two C64 cartridges in my entire life.

Hasn't everyone played pong in some way? The oldest on an actual genuine machine would be Asteroids. My favorite classic arcade game is Centipede which is the fun arcade cabinet I've ever played.

>>738428057
Half of the population is sub-100IQ by definition, yet you will never see anyone acknowledging their own stupidity. It's the same rule here. If they're childless, they think they know better than the most and would've raised a kid fine. If they have a kid, they think they did everything correctly and so it doesn't apply to them.
