I don't get it. What am I supposed to do?How many hours did people spend playing this?
>>738426096abuse bank interest and play in creative mode
>>738426096Dailies and chill in between homework and bed
>>738426096dunnobye bye
>>738426096You're supposed to play house, and the novelty wears off if you're older than a teenager.
>>738426096Relax, walk around, soak in the atmosphere, talk to neighbors, catch fish and bugs, and decorate your houseIt was more fun when wifi still worked
>>738430478Wifi in Wild World fucking sucked ASS. It cucked you out of entire features and mechanics for no reason and was extremely prone to disconnecting even when the other person was right next to you, and since the stupid fucking thing has no auto-save every player was at constant risk of losing everything you did at random.
>>738428321This. I know its easy to turn everything into a sort of tirade against the youth, but I think people forgot that video games can just be played for a little bit, and not maximized for 8 hours a day for a whole month the way most people seem to play videogames now. Wild World was fun for talking to the villagers and catching fish and it was quite entertaining for doing that
You are supposed to play it as a kid, otherwise it becomes too routinary and all the magic dies
>>738432624yeah this is spot on, I think this style of gaming has been somewhat lost to time, or at least that kind of thing has been replaced with mobile gacha apps. I notice a lot of people lately struggle to understand Pokemon Gold/Silver and its remakes too because it was designed in a similar way. it's not a "zoomers bad they play games wrong" kind of thing, I'm guilty of it too, it's hard to get out of the mindset of rushing games and grinding them hours a day. I think it was just a product of its time when life was a little bit slower and The Screen hadn't become so ubiquitous in our lives yet.
>>738430478Wifi does still work in WW. The only AC with dead wifi is New Leaf.
