I just finished Vessel of hatred and started the new expansion. I am glad I didn't buy that expansion and just got it for free because it was fucking awful other than spiritborn being fun.

I'm havin' fun, not even through the main campaign yet. Only major complaint is that higher difficulties are locked until the aforementioned's completion. I starter on Normal, changed to Hard @20, then Expert @40, and it's just been so piss easy. There was a sweet spot between 40-50 where I was actually dying and/or had to pay attention, but at the same time I was too lazy to optimize my build and was just kinda wingin' it.Also the writing is ass. I mean there are some good moments here and there, but Act III drags like a bitch, and the whole basis for the storytelling being flashbacks and random people somehow knowing the most random bullshit in order to progress is really awkward. I wish it was more open-ended and relied more on (You) exploring and uncovering the world and the story, rather than Not-Deckard @ Co. sending you everywhere for 50 hours. I mean what the hell was the point of the open world if the storyline is linear as can be?On a largely unrelated note; I love Ralph Ineson, but holy fuck is his Lothar such a nobody. Every time I hear him I just want to replay FFXVI, or rewatch Chernobyl.
