the great debate
>>738451394My keyboard has the third shape, but I've used all four variations at some point or another.
key layout 1 is aids btw
What debate?
>>738451394The one I grew up with
>>738451394mine right now has 2nd and it's fucking aidsit's gotta be 3 or 4
I liked 1 way better. It's easy enough to find the enter key but when the \ key is right above it feels just right.I'm on a 2 keyboard now and even after a few months I'm still missing it sometimes
>>738451394Who the fuck sells layouts of the right 3?
>>7384513941 or 4 all other answers come from secondaries.
>>738451467are you decrepit?
>>738451394Only 1 and 2 make sense. Not because of the shape of the return or right shift, but the backspace key. The backspace key should not be that fucking short like on 3 and 4.
>>738451394I'm used to 2, but I could live with 3 and 4, too.The only one I dislike is 1
>>738452203i've seen some older keyboards that divide it into backspace and delete, which makes a lot of sense to mei'd also accept 2's enter divided into newline and newline after current line
>>738451394First, easy. Enter key does not need to be any bigger than that, it's in the right space, plus you get room for a second big button3 isn't great, but i can at least respect it.4 is shit because it removes a button 2 is absolutely the fucking worst aids layout imaginable because it puts the key in the absolute wrong fucking spot holy shit
>>738451394Ok but consider this.Yes unfortunately this exists.
>>738453215That's the one I have and use daily
>>7384513941 because my fingers always land in the very center of the key, and the teal key is in a practical spot. I also like 3 because it makes me nostalgic and the tactility of the Return key just feels nice.
I hate so fucking much that these layouts no longer exist.
>>738451394my keyboard is layout 1 and i frequently fat-finger the backslash key when i hit enter
>>738451394What's there to debate? You either use ISO, or are wrong.>>738454432>buy ISO (E) keyboard>buy Spanish keycaps>set keyboard to ES/LAWhat's the issue?
