Fuedal Japan is an absolute SHIT setting for videogames outside of aesthetics. Literally ruins every game because of their stupid social customs. The stories are always boring stupid shit and it actually goes so far as to affect gameplay too: an example being that in Ghost of Tsushima certain animals don't drop resources because they are considered "sacred"
