the game only had one good moment and that moment was just an inversion of difts from prime 1. volcano was literally a hallway, mines had a cool concept but it was completely brought down by the shitty side characters you have to escort and help in there. Just played through the trilogy again via PrimeHack, god Prime 1 and 2 are so good. How come Nintendo STILL doesn't get what made those games so enjoyable? Its like they totally don't understand why people like those games and instead try turning it into Halo or Breath of the Wild. Metroid is supposed to be kinda scary at first, you're supposed to feel alone and like something is going to jump out at you, you're supposed to feel a little uneasy but also curious. Okay they fucked it up with Prime 3, but that was a learning experience, then they fucked up with Other M , another lesson learned, and finally Samus Returns got the series back on track, it was clumsy but at least it got Samus right, and then Dread was amazing, one of the best games in the franchise, Dread is up there with Super/Prime/Prime2 then they completely lost the plot again with Prime 4. How do they keep fucking it up? Its really not that hard is it?
