I hope Cid gets a jump in his basic kit. Like it's just in his base skill set and not like an ability he has to short cut.

My guess is Vincent will be somewhat of a replacement for Aerith. High magic stat and default attacks are ranged. Will move somewhat slow but guessing his transformations will be his special gimmick ability instead of just a limit break thing.
Cid will be the new Yuffie: really strong with fun movement that makes him borderline OP but they will give him a kinda crappy magic stat to compensate.
My other guesses are triple techs and possibly an ability that lets members switch in and out midbattle.
