People will seethe and sneed about it, but the fact remains that right now, the Switch 2 is the most affordable console (even with the announced price hike) that can play new games. Yes, there's a graphical compromise and lower fps, but the fact remains that third party devs are also aiming for S2 release of their upcoming games, as well as porting their library of games released on other platforms. Paired up with the fact that it's as easy as loading your game; no need to tweak the graphic settings or anything like that like on PC, the deck or the ROG and switching from handheld to docked it's seamless. The console itself is fine, it's quite literally what most people wanted: a super switch. Everything else like the decisions made by Nintendo, and software prices is what dragged it down, and even so it became the fastest selling console upon release. Hopefully next year their first party lineup is more substantial because right now it's very bland.
