I have a thor and have been playing ffvii omnislash mod on the switch with a strategy guide on the bottom screen. Im 44 and went through a video game slump. Thanks thor.

Try playing Rhythm Heaven on one of these and you'll see what I mean. PSVita is the same, better to just play on a hacked Vita. The emulation just isn't good enough to stray from original hardware, and the hacking scene is very well-established. The result is that I'm not sure what role the AYN Thor has, it seems stuck in a no-man's land zone where it doesn't do anything that other portables don't also do better. It's fine if you dont mind waiting the extra months for the shipment and paying the extra $500 I guess, but a cheap anbernic can do everything it can do that you might actually want to use it for.

The dual screen aspect is a bonus but having a modern handheld that doesn't have a screen wide open to get shattered to pieces is ideal.I've been emulating DS for years and it seems kind of perfect honestly. Maybe it's an x86 thing. I can believe 3ds is flawed however.. I just hope the next one has a stylus.

But again, there's nothing wrong with the AYN Thor if you have one, like it works fine. It just seems like a poor fit for any specific purpose. The main reason I can think of to get one is the nice 6inch screen if you're like 50 and your eyes don't work well anymore.
