>>738482530I just started the game and I actually enjoy the card game itself, but I don't think I've ever played any singleplayer game that feels like it was more designed as a gacha. Every upgrade or buff you receive has like three lingering steps to travel through and padded out fancy animations that could have been streamlined in a quick menu popup between missions. And the story might have been interesting if it wasn't a hangout simulator with established Marvel characters that I know won't have any permadeath, romance, or group conflict more serious than people bitching about Iron Man not refilling the coffee machine.

Starting it up I was surprised to see how much extra effort there was put into things like character customization and alternate outfits. Shame that all the outfits I've unlocked so far are lame.
