ITT: Underutilized vidya locations

train interiors
>>
trains are inherently pornographic for me as someone who has never been on a train but consumes a lot of japanese porn and hentai
>>
there isn't a lot of space you can work with using train interiors and i've seen them in dozens of (mostly survival horror) games
i do not believe they are underutilized

Arkham City has a combat challenge map where the game shifts into a 2D view and it was neat, as one-off stage.

Trains scare me.

RE3 wasted a good chance to be scary.

Dead Space 2 had a great train scene.

Many big cities have subways. Maybe it's because I grew up near DC but it's a bit silly to me if a person has never been in a train.
>>
>>738496221
subway? same thing but shittier
>>
>>738497369
get anywhere outside of those mega cities and public transport dries up pretty quick with trains exclusively being used for freight.

i live near one if the busiest railways in the United States and it only does freight, well aside from when they decide to bring out Big Boy No. 4014 to show off about once a year.

>>738497576
Subways in France and Japan are very clean...

But New Yorker subways are over a century old, so they're allowed to be dirty.

Like all train car segments in 3d games it's cramped, the character gets snagged on the seats, it's just a corridor and visually it's not comfy.
>>
>>738497369
>Maybe it's because I grew up near DC
that's basically the issue
I haven't seen any above-ground passenger trains near me in rural new england, and I just haven't taken the subway whenever I've been in a city (I don't think I've even been to many cities that have them)
