She perhaps is captured at some point and has a barbarian chainmail bikini type outfit at some point when sneaking around in the camp. Link is a wise old elf wizard. His magic is the light stuff we've seen with Zelda but also he can do illusions where a puzzle has to be solved in order to break free from it. And he also shapes the earth. We switch between the two playstyles. Bananza's deformation tech could be used for Link. Link could form a crater and Zelda could pound the earth to cause water or lava to pool into it.

Need some more Zelda games where Zelda has, like, little or no relationship with Link at all. I thought Twilight Princess was interesting in that Zelda and Ganondorf are both just kinda there because muh Triforce.
