The problem with steam reviews is that a vast majority don't even read them, whether it's because they know the reviews are low quality or not doesn't matter.
What people DO notice however is the front page where it says the total reviews and recent reviews are positive/negative
Usually I only click to read reviews when it says "overwhelmingly positive/negative", until then it's usually just whiners or fanboys.
