If you're good at making great games then that is literally 99% of the work. You don't need some over the top compelling Hollywood story or action movie cutscenes. Graphics don't matter so you don't have to spend 90% of your budget trying to scan shitty C-list actors. You get to spend all your time, energy, focus, and money on making decent gameplay and MAYBE churning out some decent music and you're fine...compared to other genres where your game will literally get crucified because faggots whined and shit their pants because of the way a character look or design is or because of 1 out of 9000 lines in some story.
