His health was worsening due to a tumor, and I think much longer and it wouldn't have been managable for him. So I feel not great. Also been in a rut for a few weeks now where I've just not got stuff to look forward to so working itself isn't feeling worth it despite being necessary. Need a holiday to look forward to or some event to go to or something, I think. I do have a week off at the end of the month, but nothing planned for it. Despite all this, I think things can improve. >>738569770I'd say it's on the more basic side, at least unmodded. It's fairly easy to learn, and it's simpler than something like Dwarf Fortress. Z-levels aren't really a thing or stuff like that. It's also very easy to customize your settings. If there are specific events you don't like, you can turn them off, stuff like that. There's also a decent enough tutorial that will help you at least avoid some of the big mistakes. Personally my first big "oops" was when I told a guy to eat his dad's corpse. I didn't think the game would let me do it.

I ran a sneak guns build, absolute nightmare against these spongy enemies with 3 million perception. I was so lucky I had an AMR with me and could at least sneak crit the overworld fucks from 10 miles away. For Lonesome Road, I just chose the Warhammer option, Enclave PA and Gatling Laser. Ghost Sight for night vision and it's time to play hardball. Sometimes I larped, got out of my PA and sniped some guys at night with Christine's rifle just to try if it worked. Kinda fun too.
