A lot of the times you need extra chemicals for things like weather resistance(water, heat, cold, etc.), bounding to whatever you're painting on and this goes into an endless verity of just stuff, durability if its something that takes a beating daily, and simply just holding on and can even double and serve as a patch job.The world of paint is pretty amazing.
