I recommend with some sort of guide or walkthrough as a backup. I got hard-stuck after an hour or two and refused to get any help. I remember you're in some big tower at the start with many floors and I couldn't leave/progress. Spoke to everyone, clicked on everything, read all I could, over, and over, and over.
