1 should be played first it's better than 2 anyway and controller feels pretty good, as long as you don't go full retard like that one streamer that disabled auto aim and tried to play with the d-pad while using the bow

I prefer the music, story and characters of 1 but 2 had better gameplay and more content.
Both are great games anyway and I'd recommend playing them both, in order.
Finished both completely with controller and they play well with it.

I think controller is even better for these games.
