KOF 15 released in 2022 btw, a year after GG Strive. But the vast majority of casuals/normalfags wouldn't know due to how outdated it looks. I don't think SNK fans really pretend at this point. They know what SNK puts out looks severely ugly and behind every other Fighting Game company. It's why they overexaggerate the gameplay in their modern games as literally the best thing ever. Because if they didn't, SNK's games would have nothing to them that everyone else doesn't already do 10x better. Though it doesn't work anyway, because gameplay isn't in the Top 5 for what helps FGs do well, unless said gameplay is literally broken/buggy or something.

I actually kinda sorta prefer KoF15 because it looks cleaner while CotW looks somewhat in-between esthetics which makes it so bland. Either way both games look sauceless.What's more important is that animations in CotW don't feel powerful at all. At some point I stopped watching character trailers because they're not too different from each other. At least in SF6 there're are impactful punches and swimsuit costumes with some of the most detailed female butts you can find in vidya.
