I'm thinking of just biting the bullet, lord knows the Switch 2 price isn't going lower than it is now, in fact they plan to increase the price.
It's pretty much confirmed there will be an OoT remake and I've been meaning to try Donkey Kong and Pokopia anyway.

Hate to say it but another generation of PC+Switch(2) being the best platform combo for people who actually enjoy games.

Bananza and Pokopia are the only "full package" game the console has so far.
Like, there's an actual campaign and an arc. Kirby Air Riders, Mario Tennis etc are all these really condensed small experiences (which doesn't mean they're bad or not worth playing but people tend to go for the games that promise an experience rather than just a lobby with some game modes)

There are 3 tiers for me.
Tier 1 - System seller, game I would finally buy the Switch 2 for.
Tier 2 - Game I may possibly pick up if I had the console, but wouldn't buy one for.
Tier 3 - No interest at all.

Everyone has different tastes, but as far as games that appeal to me and are currently out, the Switch 2 has a few Tier 2s like Bananza and Pokopia, but no Tier 1s yet. All the other games currently out are Tier 3s. Maybe by sometime next year there will be something that'll drive me to buy one.
