I just can’t see something like Weapon+Shield, which everyone is suggesting, because they’ve avoided doing what Paladin did for so long. If it is a Shield, it’ll probably be the primary weapon that can attack, like the kind of weapon Reyn uses in Xenoblade (it’s a tower shield that has a lance and can fire explosive shells). I guess they did kinda resolve Paladin dropping sword+shield together, so they could do the same with the new job. Maybe mace+towershield.
