Which way gamer man?The path of choppy sounding loudspeakers that prevent you from using mic because of feedback loop? The path of bloated bassy "audiophile" headphones that costs as much as ps5?Or the path to visual clarity through cheap chinese anime IEM?
headphones. $200 for a set that last me 5 years is fine.in ear monitors sound tinny.
>>738585646One and done
>>738585594My monitor has integrated speakers that I use. It's not the best, but whatever. We're not all born rich.
>>738585594gay people will actually plug a fucking usb c cable in their phone and think they're listening to analog audiono surprise they can't understand why headphones are superior to in ear
Why aren't soundbars more popular for pcs?
>>738586171Most are too large for a desk. The ones that are small are shitty. Razer makes one that is apparently shitty.
>>738585594In my experience:Sony MDR-7506 + thick comfy earpad replacements + cheap DAC> $120 + $5 + $50No overblown bass. Very sharp sound. Cheap-ish and simple. I was playing starfield for the first time when my older headset broke. It was a mediocre brand name gaming headset with an attached mic. Kinda garbage. I got this new setup trying to make my way into audiophile range without throwing out huge amounts of money. I was blown away at the sharpness of this new setup. I had to download a mod to turn off all the super high pitched clicks and beeps in starfield because it literally hurt to hear it after some time.
>>738585594>try IEM>one ear fits it perfectly>the other ear cannot fit it no matter what, no matter which eartips I buy, every type is either too tight or too loose>non-tardproof durability, pulling on the wire wrong, or dropping them once, or doing pretty much anything with them will bend the midge pins or shatter the cheap chink plastic>only sound good compared to plastic toy headphones in the $10-50 range>have to constantly, religiously clean them, earwax will get into the speaker holes and good luck getting that shit outcomplete memes. headphones aren't even that expensive, just $100-200 and you're set for a decade, and they'll sound far better than IEMs, and they're tardproof, and they end up far cheaper in the long run. only point to IEMs is collecting them and throwing them in cases so you can brag about your sick """cheap""" IEM collection that cost you $1000-3000 spread out over 100 purchases, of which you use two of them max. great if you like kitschy plastic trash that comes with ebin anime packaging, worthless if you just want to listen to something at a great level of quality
>usbC fuck that i dont fucking want them
>>738585594I bought two of those cheapo anime IEM. I don't like their tincan sound.
