The combat gets boring halfway through the game. I'm on the moon and getting sick of it. Bit repetitive
I knew that from the first gameplay reveal.
>>738589137what do you mean you don't wanna play a minigame every time you want to shoot enemies?
>>738589137>I'm on the moon>suddenlyYou've been there since the beginning of the game.>>738589217Don't forget how many Access Databases like this game.
>>738589217>shartytard too mentally incompetent to shoot WHILE you hack, as was intendedMANY such cases, like games journalists
>>738589268>nobody said anything about stopping to hack and then shootingreading comprehension isn't your strong suit, Ranjesh
>>738589398What's a 'ranjesh', sharteen? I only speak English.
>>738589137I didn't find it to get boring until right around the end, the constant introduction of new weapons was enough to keep it fresh, but I did still feel that it mechanically starts to fall apart when they're putting like six different special enemies in each fight and they stack on top of each other so you can't really control who you're hacking. It was particularly bad whenever there were guys with hackable missiles. The post-game mark 2 bosses were pretty boring though with their boosted health and resistances making an overheat loadout non-viable.
>>738589495Imagine speaking a girly language like English when American is superior.
>>738589572>oh shit I got fucking raped, better act retarded on purposeevery time
>>738589495it's the name your Indian parents gave you at birth
The only reason people play this game is so they can goon the little girl.
>>738589612>act>sharteenslol
>>738589648my parents aren't Indian, though. Are you trying to project your life experiences on to me? I am not familiar with Indian names but you seem to be.
>>738589612>beat england 4 times in war, the most recent time in Vietnam>got rapedExplain
>>738589137Half way through I really could not shift the sense that it was meant to be a much grander experience with a lot more meat on the bone. Once the clear corruption thing was added I started to lose interest.I don't get all the praise for the game. It's not bad, but neither is it good.
>>738589785sharteens not beating the 'actually fucking mentally retarded' allegations.
>>738589827>starts speaking gibberishI guess not being American is a crippling disability.
>>738589876We don't post avatars here. You should also shave the mustache, it looks laughable with your weak chin.
>>738589137Use Diana oftenPlay with Mouse and KeyboardFinish the post game
>sharteen gets gaped (a typical event)>reaches into his 'jak folder again, crying the whole timemy work here is done
>>738589940mouse and keyboard is so much easier it's unreal>t. typically a controller enjoyer for action games
>>738589950I accept your concession :)
>>738589950Imagine not being American like Jesus was, and spouting gibberish constantly. What's even worse is you're responding to at least 2 (likely 3) people, thinking they're all one person. I guess it must suck being Zimbabwean.
>>738589950>
>>738590000what a sad waste of quads on a retard trying his best to act more retarded, but he's just retarded anyways
>>738590045My quads are in better shape than you'll ever be. I can squat and teabag you for hours at a time.
>>738589649>The only reason people play this game is so they can goon the little girl.I played for Diana because I was hoping for an interesting story about android ethics and such. The story does things like hint at Diana becoming more like Daisy as time goes on. But it never takes any of the story ideas or plots points anywhere.
>>738589968I dont really understand this but maybe you can enlighten me, I tried switching but you basically have to lock your mouse controls so you can hack?? On a controller I can look around with gyro (or claw the stick) and shoot weakpoints while hacking
>>738590247None of the combat is that involved. You're better served just dodging around, rehacking to hit heat nodes, and repeating until you get the enemy close enough to do the final overheat with the pulse carbine. This is a game designed around gamepad controls, so quick responses and precise aiming are really unnecessary.
>>738590471I haven't tried using a controller but using the keyboard and mouse for everything is so intuitive. I couldn't see how controller is better. Aiming the weak points in hacking is so easy with a mouse.
>>738590471I mean it's probably unnecessary sweat but it feels godlike to jump and dodge around while hacking while also locked onto their weakspot and blasting all at the same time as if I'm playing metroid prime. I guess in the end everything boils down to hack mine rape anyway, even the final boss and last combat trial.>>738590558Id say which one is "better" is up for debate but controller is 100% more intuitive, you straight up lose your camera controls if you hack when playing on m&kb. On controller you also have to abandon the right stick in order to use the face buttons for hacking but you have the exclusive ability to use gyro in this case to aim instead
>>738590746You hack so quickly with the mouse it doesn't matter. As long as you crank up the mouse sensitivity, it takes a second.
>>738590819After trying both it's a pretty comparable speed except I'd rather be mashing a button because you have a lot more fine control especially when you're trying to avoid hazardous hack points later on.
>>738591046I still disagree however I play more MnK than controller in general so perhaps it is just up to preference, I just feel more natural with one and you with the other. Either way combat is boring as fuck halfway though, it's just the same loop and it doesn't feel fresh anymore
>>738589137You can really tell it went through several iterations, and they just had to make the current iteration work as best as they could because it had already been delayed so much. I did enjoy it in the end, but it was extremely easy and the relationship aspect didn't hit. Partly because the dialog was so fucking cringeworthy at times. I know Japanese developers are capable of writing good scripts, even if they usually just go for cutesy-uwu anime dialog shit, so it was disappointing. Someone I know said they cried at the ending and loved the father-daughter relationship, so I really went in expecting a 10/10.Maybe I'm comparing that aspect too much to the Maelle-Gustave relationship in Ex33. There were so many moments that exemplified how strong that bond was, and they both came off as real people. I'm trying to think of any other games where there's something similar. The first release of Nier Gestalt maybe, the western version where it's father-daughter.
>>738591162I actually play most games with mouse and keyboard but after sitting down on the couch and playing this game with my tv for shits and giggles I found this game perhaps one of THE best uses of gyro ever made, just for the fact that it's a shooter that forces you to use the face buttons and allows you to play more optimally by leaving the camera to gyro instead of just the regular "gyro instead of aim assist" crap that its usually for. So yes I would say I'm a pragmata-only gyro shill.I also think the combat kept getting better and better in this game until it peaked at the very end, probably half attributed to how much I was beginning to enjoy and master the use of this new control method, but it genuinely does keep scaling up in a way that kept me interested. So I guess we disagree both ways lmao
>>738589137shows that you haven't been getting the new guns and hacking upgrades
>>738589137The moon is a bit less interesting imo because half the area is spent avoiding combat with the digging bot. It is fine, but think it went on for a bit too long compared to the city and tree zones. The new nodes and guns should help. The barrier gun is really nice.
>got so butthurt he reported my postdid I hit a nerve, jeet?
