Do streamers actually like the game they are playing or do they just latch onto whatever is currently popular for views? How do you know which is which?
I don't mind picrel though because Expedition 33 is objectively a good game everyone should try.

Admit it, if you were a hot girl, you would also drain simps by playing Vidya on Twitch/YouTube. Easy money.

It's braindead easy and presents a cliche story in a novel enough way that retards can feel smart. It's really not difficult to see why so many played it.

No streamers chase trends, to serve the most popular slop to maximum number of goyim. It's a fucking (shitty) job.

You're watching the wrong streamers

if you are enough of an extrovert you do actually feel the feelings that let you fit in with and manipulate others.

I don't care about the opinions of streamers. The combat is damn fun, the story is great, the banter is top notch, and having a no-clip camera mode I can use any time (including cutscenes and combat) is icing on the cake.
Monoco is the best character in the game.

Why does it matter? When you watch movies do you ask yourself, "I wonder if that woman actually loves the protagonist"? It is entertainment. Trying to decipher an entertainer's true sentiments is an utterly worthless line of inquiry.
Go back to Africa.

There was some french speedrun event that invited the game director and despite running until 4am the audience was still there and hype and it broke donation records. All while the director kept bantering about Gustave dying while the audience kept saying "at least Gustave wouldn't beat his mother" and similar thing everytime Verso did anything(the Verso ending still won the donation vote) and they made the director do the volleyball game.
Such soul. I don't see astroturfed chink gachagames having that kind of community and game devs neither would ultra corpo american AAA studio would let their director banter this much without some PR team behind him.

It's the difference between owning an authentic work of art and owning a cheap replica. One is sovlfvl and the other is sovless

>the volleyball game
The visibility of those center shots was absolute dogshit. Holding the dash button the whole time makes a world of distance, since the normal walking/turning speed is abysmal.

I've watched a lot of streamers play this game and if they show no emotion or talk through the cutscenes, I stop watching. It's obvious to know when they are invested and when they aren't.

Touche, but my point remains. Streamers are fake friends but "fake" streamers are even worse
>>
>>738593426
Streamers like games that are relatively simple with interesting things to react to because that makes for an easy, enjoyable streaming experience.

Journalists who flopped in the actual industry become game industry journalists
Same for pornstars
Film directors
You know it

99% just play FOTM games
>How do you know which is which?
Look at what games they play and more importantly how many games they finish as opposed to start and then drop after a few streams

Companies pay these people to play the games and pretend to be interested in them
Twitch and youtube scrape ad revenue from unaffiliated third parties on the bullshit metrics presented
Excrement 33 is an overmarketed piece of shit and it didn't even work since even after buying All The Awards Ever TM they're still begging people to recognize it's legitimacy.
>>
i saw the same streamers reacting to ff16 the same way. they were also at the same PR events talking about how good the game was and how it impacted their lives, etc. only difference is that game didn't take off. these guys are just actors.
>>

As one of these paid actors, I can confirm. I'm just in it for the free swag and if I can get little jimmy to give me his dementia ridden grandma's credit card in dono's, then all the better.
